Important Documentation Notes
Excellent, very well written
How do I install this version of the quide into the help section?
When I press the SkyX user guide button, version 1.9 comes up not version 2.0.
Ditto Turkey Buzzards Question. When I hit the User's Guide in the help section of TSX I get an antique version of the user's guide which led to a lot of "Why don't you just read the user's Guide" comments from guys on the forum." One day Dan or maybe it was Tom sent me a link to the "latest" version. I almost teared up, it was so much clearer and well written than the one I was using. So as TB asked, how can I launch the newer version from TSX. I have it in a position of high honor on my desktop which works fine but twood be nice if popped from TSX.
Great Improvements in the latest Manuel. THANKS!!
TheSkyX User Guide is installed to the root folder of TheSkyX's installation folder. Save and replace the existing user guide the newer revision.
I just upgraded from SAE to Pro, although I use it to run my CGEM and shoot with a DSLR. Depending on your need, SAE could easily fit the bill as it has much of the same functionality as Pro. The things I got with Pro, that I really wanted, was the ability to link my images to Pro's Field of View Indicator and the ability to set up and shoot mosaics. Also, eventually, to use a CCD for automated TPoint mapping. It did take me a while to convince myself to upgrade, but I'm happy I ultimately did.
why can I not download the PDF user guide?
@Richard F Read: I am able to downloaded the user guide with no trouble while signed into your member account, so there doesn't appear to be any problem on our end. Please post any questions to an appropriate forum, rather than as a comment here.
